BODY PUMP

Body Pump gives members, who may have never picked up a barbell before, the chance to incorporate a weightlifting program into their exercise regimen. The class is set music and is designed to deliver results safely, effectively and quickly. After a few months of "pumping up", members are ready to show off their newly sculpted bodies!! All fitness levels are welcome.

BODY ATTACK

Body Attack is a high low sport conditioning workout that will have you burning 700-1200 calories in one hour! BODYATTACK™ is the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Dynamic instructors and powerful music motivate everyone towards their fitness goals - from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor!

KANGOO JUMPS 

A fun cardiovascular workout that combines dance moves, running, and jumping. You wear Kangoos - unusual footwear that looks like ski boots that will enable you to rebound and enjoy a low impact workout. 80% less impact than your sneakers and you burn 25% more calories.  It is a full body workout. This class is excellent for those with bad backs, knees, and hips. If you have your own boots you do not need to register for class.

SPINNING

A highly effective, very popular workout performed on our NEW stationary NXT bikes. Why the popularity? Members burn approximately 500 calories per class and get results!! All fitness levels are welcome.

Many fun and motivating classes are offered; for example, Halloween Spookly Spin rides; Spin and Sax rides (spin to a live band); Guess that Artist rides and many more!!

Tabata Spin*: This ride can be different every time. Rolling hills, intervals, endurance, stacked ladders, race day, etc.

ZUMBA

A fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system. Zumba is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps. Zumba is held on Saturdays at 11am and Fridays at 5pm. Classes for both members and non-members. FREE for members! & $20.00 for Non-Members per class.

Zumba Gold: Takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle.

PILATES I

Pilates is one of the safest and most effective exercise programs available today. It unites body and mind and creates a more streamlined shape. You will build core abdominals, restore natural posture, develop strength, flexibility and endurance.

Classes: Free to members. Non-members - $20 entry fee

PILATES II

Take Pilates to the next level by adding intermediate/advanced movement to this mat class.

YOUNG AT HEART

The Weymouth Club offers a variety of classes for our 50+ members. We take pride in the quality of our classes and the knowledge of our instructors who offer our members their guidance and support. Many close lasting relationships have been formed in our classes. All fitness levels are welcome.

YOGA

This ancient health and fitness discipline offers many benefits including stress reduction, emotional wellness, improved strength, flexibility, balance and postural alignment. Yoga is free to members.

  • Kripalu Yoga: A gentle yet challenging approach to asana practice that emphasizes breath work, meditation, and encourages inward focus and spiritual attunement. This class can initiate a gradual process of physical healing, psychological growth and spiritual awakening
  • 3,2,1 Shred – is a circuit class – 3 minutes of strength training, 2 minutes of cardiovascular work and 1 minute of abdominal work.
  • Step – A challenging aerobic workout choreographed to music using the step, ending with abs.
  • YAH-LIA/Sculpt – Low impact choreography for 30 minutes followed by muscle conditioning and ending with abs.
  • Body Sculpt – A full body muscle conditioning class focusing on form and technique. Weights, body bars and resistive tubes are used.
  • Core & More – A challenging head to toe workout using a variety of equipment w/strong focus on engaging core muscles to maximize total body conditioning.
  • Yoga – A wholesome approach to achieving perfect physical and mental health, happiness and tranquility.
  • Ab Shredder: 30 minutes of conditioning exercises for the torso and abdominal area. It will transform your abs!
  • Body Sculpt: A full body muscle conditioning class focused on form and technique using weights, body bars & resistive tubes.
  • Chisel’d: A total body strength conditioning class using a variety of equipment and body weight with focus on form and technique. Class ends with a strong core workout.
  • Chisel’d Upper Body: A 30 minute class using weights and bars to target chest, back, shoulders, biceps and triceps.
  • Chisel’d Lower Body: A 30 minute class using weights, bands and steps to target quads, hamstrings, glutes and calves.
  • Piloxing: Mixes Pilates & Boxing moves for a fat torching, muscle sculpting, core-centric, interval workout.
  • Spinning*: A highly effective, non-impact, cardiovascular workout on a stationary bike. All levels welcome. See combo classes.
  • Spin Flex*: A combo class format that uses dyna bands and dumbbells to train major muscle groups, paying attention to the upper body.
  • Spin & Abs*: A highly effective, non-impact, cardiovascular workout on a stationary bike. With 15 minutes of abs.
  • Tabata Spin*: This ride can be different every time. Rolling hills, intervals, endurance, stacked ladders, race day etc.
  • Tai Chi: A graceful form of exercise that is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints. Helps improve balance, leg strength, mobility, flexibility, and psychological health
  • Pound: An exciting 45 minute cardio, strength training class that uses weighted drumstix. You can burn up to 500-900 calories. 
  • YAH-Yoga with Props: Gentle Yoga with light weights, bands, and balls. For the young at heart (YAH)

Classes are 55 minutes long unless otherwise noted.All classes are instructed by certified, CPR trained instructors and are subject to change.
