Cardio Tennis is a high energy fitness activity that combines the best features of the sport of tennis with cardiovascular exercise, delivering the ultimate, full body, calorie burning aerobic workout. Cardio Tennis is a fun group activity for anyone at any playing level looking for a fun way to burn calories & interact with others outside of the gym.
This class is for the beginner player with very little tennis experience. Focus of the program will be on learning forehand, backhand, volleys and serves, as well as the rules and etiquette of the game.
Now that you have mastered the basics it’s time to work on consistency, shot placement, aggressive net play and proper tactical patterns of play. The class will also focus on footwork, and structuring points.
This class will focus on developing power in your shots, as well as using slice and topspin. Specialty shots such as drop shots and lobs will also be covered. The class will also incorporate mental aspects of the game situational drills and match play.
Let our top professional staff run you through a series of intense situational drills focusing on taking both your singles and doubles game to the next level. The class will also incorporate handling the mental aspects of the game during match play.
