TFA Camp: Dance Track

Overview

TFA Camp at Weymouth Club is a fun-filled summer experience for children ages 6–13. The dance specialty includes many of the great activities of TFA Camp, but with more time and instruction in dance.

  • Taught by professional dance teachers from Weymouth Club’s Dance with Energy school.
  • Dancers learn new dance styles with proper instruction and guidance.
  • Each week of camp concludes with a performance for family and friends.
  • Early drop-off and late pick-up available.

Camp Activities

  • Attendance
  • Opening games and groupings
  • DANCE (approximately 3 sessions per day)
  • TFA ELECTIVE: tennis lesson or arts and crafts (varies by day)
  • Free swim
  • Daily awards
  • Lunch and snack times
  • Final dance performance presented on Friday afternoons

Lunch and Snacks

All campers must bring a water bottle marked with their name, multiple nut-free snacks and a nut-free lunch.

Early Camp and After Camp Care

Early Camp 8:00–9:00 a.m.

$14/hour for members

$16/hour for non-members

After Camp 3:00–5:00 p.m.

$14/hour for members

$16/hour for non-members

  • All campers must have a credit card on file as a backup form of payment.
  • Early drop-off and after-camp charges will be tallied at the end of each week. Campers are only charged for time logged, we do not charge for the whole time as many camps do.  
  • Campers who arrive before 8:50 a.m. will be charged for a 15-minute increment of early camp.
  • Campers who are not picked up by 5:00 p.m. will be charged $1 per minute starting at 5:00 p.m.

Any emergencies, please call Weymouth Club main # 781-337-4600 & tell the front desk to relay the message up to the Early or After Camp Staff.

Parents, if you are running late and you need your child to stay for After Camp, we can accommodate that.  Please call the Weymouth Club’s main phone number 781-337-4600, they will relay the message and we will let your child know.

Our camp is in compliance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations (105 CMR 430) and is licensed by the Weymouth Board of Health.
